Booking clarification: our confirmed code HOSTELAMSTERDAM applies to direct accommodation bookings. We have not confirmed that it discounts bar-crawl tickets or that we sell a combined room-and-crawl package.
To control your group’s costs, compare the accommodation price, activity ticket and extra spending separately. Ask the activity organiser for a written group quote and compare its final per-person cost with ordinary tickets for the same date and inclusions. A group booking does not automatically mean a discount.
Which savings can you check with us?
For rooms or dorm beds, enter HOSTELAMSTERDAM on our Cloudbeds booking page. Check the result for your dates, guests and room types, including taxes and cancellation terms. Do not apply a claimed crawl-ticket saving to that accommodation total.
Our Cloudbeds terms list a 15% hostel-guest discount on food and drinks in the bar. This is separate from external activity tickets. Ask the bar team about current offers before ordering rather than assuming discounts can be combined.
What should a group quote include?
- The total payable for your actual group size, including booking fees.
- Whether you join a public departure or book a private activity.
- The date, meeting point, check-in window and expected duration.
- The included venue entries and drinks, with non-alcoholic options.
- The cancellation deadline, late-arrival policy and minimum group size.
- Whether the price changes if someone drops out.
Ask whether any quoted group reduction is already included in the displayed total. Compare like-for-like options: a private host and a public ticket are different products, even if both are called a pub crawl.
What does a current external ticket example look like?
As a dated comparison, Ultimate Party’s Leidseplein crawl advertised tickets from €20 per person when checked on 12 September 2026. Its page listed six stops, six drinks with beer, wine or soft-drink choices, and club entry. It required guests to be 18 or older with valid ID.
The advertised meeting point was Bar Twenty Two, Leidseplein 22, with check-in between 20:30 and 21:45 on Tuesday to Saturday. This is an independent operator example, not a White Tulip package or a confirmed partnership. Recheck availability, price and conditions with the organiser before paying.
How do you compare the real group total?
For illustration, eight tickets priced at €20 each would total €160 before any additional costs. This arithmetic is a comparison baseline, not a group quote. Add any meals, transport and spending outside the ticket inclusions, then compare the result with the organiser’s final group offer.
Included drinks do not make extra purchases free, and nobody needs to consume every included alcoholic drink to participate. Check the non-alcoholic choices with the organiser. Agree a budget with your group before booking rather than treating an advertised discount as proof of value.
Can you meet at Slainte before the crawl?
Our Slainte Irish Pub is connected with the hostel. Larger groups should ask about space, opening times and food service in advance. A hostel booking does not reserve a pub table or move an external organiser’s meeting point to our reception.
Allow time to reach the actual starting venue. After your night out, return quietly: our terms ask guests to keep noise down after 22:00. No curfew does not mean parties are permitted in the dorms.
Who should you contact?
Use our contact page for accommodation and hostel arrangements. Send activity questions and ticket changes to the organiser named on your confirmation. Keep both confirmations so payment, cancellation and meeting-point details remain clear.
Existing media
Earlier media may describe hostel packages or ticket discounts. Those offers have not been confirmed; the accommodation code and bar benefit above should not be treated as crawl-ticket offers.
