For a visit to the Johan Cruijff ArenA from our White Tulip Hostel, first decide whether you want a stadium tour, an Ajax match or a concert. These require different tickets. Our hostel is in central Amsterdam at Warmoesstraat 87, so plan transport to the stadium and back as part of your day rather than treating it as a nearby city-centre attraction.
Taylor Swift dates: the Amsterdam shows were in 2024
The ArenA’s official Eras Tour listing confirms performances on 4, 5 and 6 July 2024. Those are past concerts. Earlier wording on this page incorrectly moved them to 2025; it should not be used to plan a future Taylor Swift visit.
For upcoming football and music events, start with the official ArenA calendar, then open the individual event page. Check the event date, doors, permitted ticket seller and entrance before booking accommodation. A stadium-tour reservation does not serve as your concert or match ticket.
Classic stadium tour: prices and time to allow
The official Classic Tour booking page, checked on 12 September 2026, lists these standard ticket categories. Select your actual date to confirm availability and the final price.

Two tickets for visitors aged 13 or above total €55. Adding one child aged 5–12 brings that to €74.25, before transport or food. Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above.
The Classic Tour is self-guided and takes approximately 75 minutes. Staff can answer questions along the route, which ends at the Ajax Gallery of Fame. The official tour FAQ explains the practical conditions. The Ajax changing room is not always accessible, including on some away-match days.
If you want an extra experience, compare the products in the official tour shop. It lists a Classic Tour plus VR Ride at €32.50 for around 90 minutes and a VIP Tour at €62 for around two hours. Do not assume every Classic ticket includes a VR ride or the augmented-reality features described in our old material.
Entrance, bags and accessibility
Stadium tours start at Entrance E, beside the Ajax fan shop. For a match or concert, follow your own ticket’s entrance instead.
Bags larger than A4 are not permitted on tours, and there is no internal bag storage. Arrange external storage before arrival if needed. The stadium is cash-free. For wheelchair arrangements, contact tour@johancruijffarena.nl; the FAQ asks visitors to arrange assistance after booking and says there are no loan wheelchairs. If access determines whether you can visit, we recommend confirming your needs before paying.
Planning the journey from White Tulip
The tour FAQ recommends Bijlmer ArenA station, followed by a walk to the stadium. Plan both directions for your actual date; the journey includes reaching your departure station, waiting and finding the correct entrance. We would not rely on the old fixed twenty-minute estimate for the full trip from our door.
For evening events, check your return transport before setting out and allow time to leave the venue with the crowd. Keep your accommodation address and ticket details available on your phone. Our reception team can help you orient yourself before departure.
If you are visiting after checking out, organise storage elsewhere first: our Cloudbeds conditions state that we do not store luggage after checkout. This matters particularly when combining a stadium visit with an evening train or flight.
