Our walking-route check showed approximately 500 metres and 7 minutes from the selected Rokin map point to White Tulip Hostel at Warmoesstraat 87, via Warmoesstraat. Allow additional time to leave the metro platform, find your exit and walk with luggage or through crowds. This is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed platform-to-reception journey time.
How do you walk from Rokin to our hostel?
Set your walking destination to White Tulip Hostel, Warmoesstraat 87, Amsterdam. Head towards Dam and continue towards Warmoesstraat, following the live walking directions to number 87. The route selected by Google Maps on 12 September 2026 was 500 metres via Warmoesstraat; an alternative via Damrak and Warmoesstraat was 550 metres, also estimated at 7 minutes.
Start navigation from the exit you actually use. Different station exits can change the street route, so a map pin labelled Rokin should not be treated as the location of every exit. Check the hostel name and house number before stopping; Slainte Irish Pub is connected with our hostel.
Which metro serves Rokin?
GVB lists Rokin on metro line 52, the Noord/Zuidlijn. Use the GVB journey planner for your actual departure point and time, including current disruptions, connections and the direction of travel.
The old article listed particular tram and night-bus routes as though they were permanent connections. Check the planner for current stop locations and services instead. A nearby street stop and the underground metro platform are not interchangeable starting points.
Should you use Rokin or Amsterdam Centraal?
Choose according to your incoming journey. If you are already arriving at Amsterdam Centraal, compare the direct walk to our hostel with travelling on to Rokin and then walking. Do not assume that adding a metro ride will save time once transfers and station exits are included.

What if you have luggage or need step-free access?
Allow more time than the map’s walking estimate if you are moving slowly or carrying bags. Check current station lift information with GVB if you need it. A lift shown on a station map is not a guarantee that it is operating when you travel.
Station accessibility and hostel accessibility are separate. Our published room descriptions list upper floors as accessible by stairs only. Read our stair-access information and contact us before booking if the route to your room is important to your access needs.
What if your arrival is delayed?
Our Cloudbeds terms say that beds are held for two hours after the given arrival time and that you must contact us if delayed. A 24-hour team does not remove that requirement. Let us know if transport disruption changes your expected check-in time.
For your departure, plan around 10:00 check-out and note that our terms say luggage storage is not available at check-out. Arrange another option if you want to explore before continuing your journey.
