Breakfast is an optional extra, rather than something to assume is included with every bed or room booking. Our official pub page currently lists breakfast for hostel guests at €7. Check your reservation confirmation to see whether you have already added it, and ask our team if the meal inclusion is unclear.
How do you add breakfast?
Our Slainte Irish Pub page says you can ask about breakfast when booking or at check-in. Tell us which mornings you need it and how many guests are interested. Confirm the current price, how to pay and whether you need to arrange it in advance.
If your confirmation already includes breakfast, show it to reception before paying for another breakfast. An accommodation payment or a promotional room rate does not, on its own, prove that meals are included.
Where and when is breakfast served?
Our pub page presents breakfast as an option for White Tulip guests at Slainte, connected with the hostel at Warmoesstraat 87. Ask our team for the serving location and current breakfast times for your stay. We have not confirmed the old article’s claim that breakfast is served until 22:00.
Our 24-hour reception is separate from the pub and kitchen schedule. If you have an early train, flight or tour, check whether breakfast will be available before you leave. Do not assume a packed breakfast, takeaway service or early opening is included.
What is included in the €7 breakfast?
The current official pub page does not specify the complete menu, portion sizes or included drinks. Ask what the breakfast includes before ordering, especially if coffee or another drink matters to your budget. The existing video’s examples of coffee, bread and fruit are not a confirmed current menu.
For allergies or dietary requirements, tell the team exactly what you need and ask about ingredients and preparation. We do not promise a vegan, gluten-free or allergen-free breakfast without direct confirmation. Check suitability before adding a meal to your booking.
Does the hostel guest discount apply to breakfast?
Our Cloudbeds terms list a 15% guest discount on food and drinks in the bar. The pub page separately advertises the €7 breakfast option. Ask whether that breakfast price already reflects an offer and whether the guest discount applies; do not automatically subtract another 15%.
The old article’s 15–25% discount range is not our confirmed guest discount. Our room-booking code HOSTELAMSTERDAM is also separate from the breakfast price and does not establish an additional meal discount.
How should you plan your morning?
Arrange your meal around check-out, which our terms set at 10:00. Having breakfast does not extend your room access. Our terms also state that luggage storage is not available at check-out, so plan an alternative if you want to explore after leaving your room.
If the breakfast option or serving time does not suit you, ask reception for nearby options and check the venue’s current opening hours and menu. We have removed the old list of supposedly cheap breakfast venues because it did not establish their suitability or current prices.

Use our Cloudbeds booking page for current accommodation availability. Enter HOSTELAMSTERDAM and review the final price and included extras before confirming. For an existing reservation, contact us with your reference and the mornings you want breakfast.
