Quick answer: Pllek is a waterside restaurant and event venue at TT Neveritaweg 59 on Amsterdam’s NDSM wharf. We suggest it for a meal or a relaxed outing in Noord. From Centraal, take the free F4 ferry towards NDSM and continue on foot. Reserve indoors if a table matters: the terrace is walk-in only, including for groups.

These hours and booking rules come from Pllek’s reservation page. Sunday lunch is walk-in only. During IJ-Hallen weekends, lunch is walk-in on both Saturday and Sunday. A restaurant reservation is not a ticket to a separately organised event.
The reservation page directs parties larger than eight to group bookings. If friends are joining you, settle the headcount before booking and check the group menu and conditions. An indoor booking does not guarantee an outside table if the weather improves.
Food, dietary needs and the bill
Pllek’s current menu page describes seasonal cooking, with vegan and vegetarian dishes alongside fish and meat. It links to breakfast and lunch, dinner, drinks and group menus. Use the menu for your visit rather than treating older vegetarian percentages or sustainability slogans as a complete description of what is served now.
If someone in your group has an allergy, raise it with staff before ordering. Pllek’s FAQ says its dishes may contain traces of allergens. A vegan label does not by itself answer questions about allergens or shared preparation.
The same FAQ states that restaurant bills cannot be split. We suggest agreeing who will pay and settling your shares afterwards. Check the prices of food and drinks together when planning your budget, particularly for a larger group.
What if you are late, or need to store a coat?
Call 020 290 0020 if you are delayed. Pllek’s newer reservation page says tables are held for a maximum of 30 minutes, while its older FAQ warns that an unannounced delay over 15 minutes may lose the table. We would call as soon as a delay is likely rather than rely on the longer period.
There is no staffed cloakroom. The FAQ lists coin-operated lockers by the toilets at €2, with the coin used up when you reopen the locker. That is a useful exception to the restaurant’s card-only payment rule. Check the current locker arrangement on arrival, and do not assume it can hold travel luggage.
Getting to Pllek from our hostel
- Start from our address, Warmoesstraat 87, and walk towards Amsterdam Centraal.
- Go to the IJ-side ferry departure area and check the destination before boarding.
- Take F4 towards NDSM, then use walking directions to TT Neveritaweg 59.
GVB confirms that the IJ ferries are free for pedestrians and cyclists and identifies F4 as the NDSM–Centraal connection. Buiksloterweg is a different landing, so do not board simply because a ferry is crossing to Noord.
Check the live GVB journey planner for both directions, especially for a late return. The total outing includes your walk, any wait for the ferry, the crossing and the walk at NDSM. A restaurant closing time is not a ferry timetable.
Terrace, events and accessibility
For an outdoor visit, bring a layer for the waterfront and be prepared to change your seating plan. The beach-bar description is about the setting; it should not be taken as a promise of swimming facilities, a lounger or a particular spot by the water.
Choose activities from Pllek’s current agenda. A photograph of an outdoor film, yoga session or live performance does not mean it is offered on your travel date. Check the event’s time, booking requirement and any weather information separately from a restaurant reservation.
Pllek says its restaurant and toilets are reachable for wheelchair users, but there is no lift to the upper floor. Ask the venue about the intended table or event area if you need step-free access; do not assume every part of the building has the same access.
