Which TonTon location should you choose?
TonTon’s official website lists Westergas in Westerpark and a new Noord location, opened in 2026 as a two-year pop-up with more arcade cabinets. This guide focuses on Westergas. Do not use the brand’s original Red Light District address as directions to either current venue.

What does it cost to play?
The September 2026 Westergas menu lists one token for €1, six for €5 and twelve for €10. It describes arcade play as one token per person per game. Board games are free to use; ask the host for the collection.
For two people, six tokens would cover three shared rounds at that stated rate: €5 in total, or €2.50 each. Check the selected machine before committing tokens. Start with a small pack if you are unsure how long you will stay; the venue’s FAQ says tokens are non-refundable but remain valid.
We suggest deciding whether you want competitive arcade rounds, a board game at a table, or a meal with a little gaming afterwards. That makes it easier to agree a spending limit and avoid buying more tokens than you need. A table booking should not be treated as a reservation of a particular machine.
Food and drink: practical budget examples
The Westergas menu lists five chicken or vegetable gyoza for €8, Korean fried cauliflower for €11 and a Pepsi for €4. A six-token pack, one gyoza portion and two Pepsis therefore total €21 for two people. That is a light snack-and-games example, not dinner for two, and extra rounds or drinks cost more.
Menus differ between branches. For example, the Noord menu lists a smash burger at €14 and an eggplant bao at €8.50. Use the menu for the location you actually booked rather than assuming both kitchens offer the same dishes or prices.

For allergies, ask staff for the allergen list and describe the ingredient you need to avoid; do not infer that a vegetable dish is automatically suitable for every diet.
Reservations, groups and younger visitors
Use the reservation option on TonTon’s website. For a group, send the branch your date, time, headcount and occasion. We would also mention any seating or mobility requirements before booking.
The FAQ welcomes children with a parent or guardian, but says it does not offer children’s parties or children’s seating. Check any arrangements that matter to your group directly with TonTon.
Getting to Westergas from our hostel
Start at Warmoesstraat 87 and plan your journey to Polonceaukade 27. The Westergas site’s general office address is number 9, so entering the restaurant address helps you find the right door.
The Westergas travel page describes a largely car-free site and encourages cycling or public transport. It lists bus 21 from Centraal to Van Hallstraat/Westergasfabriek as one option. Check the live GVB planner for your actual departure and return, as diversions and late services can change.
You can combine the visit with time in the surrounding park. Westergas says the public park is freely accessible day and night, but that does not mean its restaurants are open around the clock. Bringing a picnic into the park is different from taking your own food into a hospitality venue, which the site does not permit.
For step-free access, ask TonTon specifically about its entrance, toilets and seating. General accessibility information for other Westergas buildings is not confirmation for this restaurant.
