Yes, couples can book an available private room with us at White Tulip Hostel Amsterdam. Our two-person option in Cloudbeds is listed as Twin, Shared facilities: two single beds and a shared bathroom. It gives you your own bedroom, but it is not a promise of one double bed or an ensuite bathroom.
What does the twin room offer a couple?
Our Cloudbeds description, checked on 12 September 2026, specifies a twin room with two single beds and shared bathroom facilities. This is the room type to look for when two of you want a private bedroom and are comfortable using shared facilities.

If sleeping in one double bed is essential, contact us before paying. Do not assume that twin beds can be joined or that a different bed setup can be arranged. We need to confirm any specific request for the room you are considering.
Can a couple book a private bathroom too?
The listed twin room has shared facilities. Our Cloudbeds listings also include a five-person private ensuite with five single beds and a private bathroom. That is a different room type, not a two-person ensuite or a double-bed room.
If an ensuite is essential for your trip, search for your actual dates and two guests to see which options are offered, or ask us before booking. Is booking two dorm beds the same as booking a private room?
No. Two beds in a shared dorm are sleeping places in accommodation shared with other travellers. They do not reserve the whole bedroom for you. Separate bookings also do not guarantee that both guests will be allocated to the same room.
For a private stay together, select an option explicitly listed as private and check the booking summary for both guests. If no suitable private room appears, ask us about your dates instead of assuming two dorm beds will become a private room on arrival.
