Our standard check-in time at The White Tulip Hostel Amsterdam is 14:00 (2 pm). Early check-in may be possible if your booked room is ready, but it is not guaranteed. Our reception is open 24 hours; that does not mean you can access your room before 14:00.
Arriving before 14:00
If your train or flight gets you to Amsterdam in the morning, plan around the standard check-in time. Contact us with your reservation name, arrival date and expected arrival time to ask about your options. An early-arrival request does not itself confirm early access.
For example, if you expect to arrive at 11:00, allow for the possibility that you will need to wait until 14:00 to use your room. Keep your booking confirmation handy so you can refer to the details of your stay.
Can you leave bags before checking in?
Ask us specifically about storage before check-in if you want to explore Amsterdam before your room is ready. We cannot confirm that arrangement from the general listing of lockers or baggage storage alone. Check whether your bags can be accepted, any charge and when you can collect them before making plans.
Departure-day storage is a different matter: our direct-booking terms state that luggage storage is not available at check-out. Do not plan to leave your bags with us after checking out.
What to include in an early-arrival question
- The name on your reservation and your arrival date.
- Your expected arrival time.
- Whether you need early room access, somewhere to leave bags, or both.
