We have not confirmed the current number of televisions in Slainte Irish Pub. Our official pub page confirms that you can watch live sports, but does not give a screen count. The earlier article said six and the existing illustration and video say three, so neither number should be used to plan your visit without checking with our team.
Can you watch your match at Slainte?
Our official pub page describes Slainte as a place to watch live sports and advises checking the current sports schedule directly. Tell us the teams or event, competition, date and Amsterdam start time. Ask whether that specific broadcast will be shown before travelling to the pub for it.
A sports pub does not necessarily show every fixture. If two events overlap, check which one will be on, whether commentary will be audible and whether your preferred event will be shown from start to finish. We do not promise multiple simultaneous broadcasts or a view of a screen from every seat.
What should a group check before arriving?
Give us your group size and expected arrival time, as well as the fixture. Ask about available space, whether reservations are possible and any conditions that apply. The number of televisions alone would not establish seating capacity, a reserved table or an unobstructed view.
If you want food during the game, check kitchen hours separately from the pub’s opening hours. An early or late match does not establish that the kitchen is serving. Our hostel’s 24-hour reception also does not mean the pub is open around the clock.
Where is the pub?
Slainte is connected with our hostel at Warmoesstraat 87, 1012 HZ Amsterdam. It is a place to watch sport in the pub; this article does not promise televisions or match viewing from your dorm bed. Our pub page has the address and contact details for planning a visit.
Which guest discounts are confirmed?
Our Cloudbeds terms list a 15% hostel-guest discount on food and drinks in the bar, plus daily Heineken happy hours with a buy-one-get-one-free offer. Ask the team about current times and how the offers apply before ordering. The old 15–25% range is not the confirmed guest discount.
For accommodation, enter our confirmed code HOSTELAMSTERDAM on the direct booking page and review the resulting price and conditions. The room-booking code does not itself reserve a pub seat or establish an additional bar discount.
How do you check a fixture or the screen count?
Contact our team with your event and date. If the screen setup matters to you, ask how many screens are currently in use for that event and where your group could watch. A reply about a particular fixture is more useful than relying on an old general screen count.
