The number of rooms or beds available at White Tulip Hostel Amsterdam depends on your dates and group size. Check our Cloudbeds booking page for current availability. We offer shared dorm beds and private bedrooms, but the public room listings do not provide a reliable total of all physical rooms in the building.
Correction: the older image below says 25 rooms, while an earlier version of this article said 14. We cannot confirm either total from our current Cloudbeds information. Please do not use those figures to estimate availability or group capacity.
What does the room count tell you?
A room type describes a booking option, such as a twin bedroom or a bed in an eight-person dorm. It is not necessarily one distinct physical room. Likewise, an eight-bed dorm description does not mean eight beds are still available on your dates.
Our Cloudbeds property introduction mentions six private rooms, but that statement is not a total for the whole hostel. The booking engine also lists several private and shared room configurations. We do not add those listings together to invent a room or bed count. If the building’s exact capacity matters for an event or group, ask our team for confirmation.

These are descriptions of booking options, not a count of separate rooms or a promise that all options are on sale together. A private bedroom does not automatically have an ensuite bathroom. See our private room guide for more detail.
Can you book just one dorm bed?
Yes, we list beds in mixed shared dormitories as well as private rooms. Our Cloudbeds options include four-, six-, eight-, ten- and fourteen-person dorm descriptions. Select the listing and quantity for your actual guest count; do not book a whole private room when you only need an individual bed.
For example, one bed in an eight-person shared dorm gives you a sleeping place alongside other guests. An eight-person private room reserves the bedroom for your booking. Similar capacities do not make those two products interchangeable. Our eight-bed dorm guide explains that distinction.
How do you check what is available?
- Open our direct Cloudbeds booking page and enter arrival, departure and guest count.
- Read each available room name, bathroom arrangement and booking unit carefully.
- Compare the complete stay price and payment and cancellation terms.
- For essential requirements, contact us before confirming the reservation.
If a room is missing from your results, do not assume that the room type has permanently disappeared. Results apply to the dates and party you searched for. Ask us about alternatives if you need a specific arrangement, and do not assume separately booked dorm beds will be in the same room.
What should groups confirm first?
Tell us your dates, total guest count, preferred bed arrangement and whether the group needs exclusive bedrooms. Ask about bathroom arrangements and any access needs. If travelling with children, confirm the ages and booking suitability with us before paying; a room’s capacity alone does not establish a child policy.

Clarification for the existing video
The older video says we have well over a dozen rooms and mentions double rooms and a quiet retreat. We have not confirmed that total or a double-bed room type from the current listings; the twin option specifies two single beds. A private bedroom provides privacy, but our central nightlife location does not guarantee silence. Follow the current room descriptions and availability above.
